We specialise in the provision of Data Interchange, Process Control and Business Reporting solutions for Insurers, Litigation Funders, Case Providers, Reporting Accountants and Direct to law firms handling large volumes of litigation work.

The Litigation sector is fast moving, complex, and highly competitive. Individuals and business owners need the support of professionals who provide on-time, effective solutions to help their business move forward.

A large law firm has grown through merger and acquisition of established law firms. The finance team spent one week every month extracting reports into spreadsheets to produce an inconsistent reporting pack that was two weeks out of date by the time it was reviewed.

The acquired law firms have not been able to fully migrate their complex legacy systems.

We provided a secure cloud based solution that allowed information from the various legacy systems to be extracted, validated and reported in a consistent format.

Each legal practice has their own bespoke internal system.

We provided a secure interchange that converted and verified each individual customers data to a format that allowed the bank to monitor and control payment for all disbursements for individual client accounts for each legal practice.

This allowed the bank and the legal practices to manage the entire disbursement funding lifecycle without any changes to internal systems.

A broker provides independent quotes for insurance for a number of legal practices from a number of insurers. The broker's paper based system was inhibiting their growth and required 3 staff full time to audit and control the process.

Each legal practice has their own bespoke internal system. The third party insurers have their own unique requirements.

We provided a secure aggregation solution that verified each request for insurance converted it to match each underwriters preferred requirement and identified the most suitable insurers to pass the request for insurance for individual matters for each legal practice. The solution then monitored and automated communication between all parties for the lifetime of each policy.

This allowed the broker, the insurers and the legal practices to manage the entire policy lifecycle without any changes to internal systems. The solution allowed one person to manage the entire solution as it grew to service 50 law firms and 6 insurers.

A funder provides finance for disbursements to a number of legal practices. The funder has bespoke lending criteria which includes providing evidence an insurance policy is in place for every disbursement with third party insurers prior to any payment.

Each legal practice has their own bespoke internal system. The third party insurers have their own bespoke reporting requirements.

We provided a secure solution that verified the policy existed and monitored each individual request for payment for disbursements by the legal prcatice to let the funder control payment for individual client accounts for each legal practice.

This allowed the funder, insurers and the legal practices to manage the entire disbursement funding lifecycle without any changes to internal systems.

C2 Solutions was started in 2009 to design, build, implement and maintain IT driven solutions for Banks, Insurers and Law Firms that allow them to communicate and achieve their business goals easier and faster.

Our founder Ian Carter has spent over 25 years working in the IT industry; initially with Hardware and Software giants Fujitsu(ICL) and Microsoft, before moving on to work in Acturial, Insurance, Banking, Law and Accountacy insitutions.

Our chairman David Swaden is a Chartered Accountant with 30 years of industry experience and formerly the Lead Partner of BDO Stoy Hayward in the North West of England. Expert in practice management; turnaround and recovery; change management and exit strategies. Specialist in advising professional service businesses.
